This was an interesting book, for sure. And I didn't love this book – that is I am not climbing up on the roof to testify to the world that this is the best book ever. I did like it. And I like that I've recommended it to people who enjoy it and that's good. And it's not that this is a book that makes you think or anything like some stuffy books because I will confess that my little brain doesn't like to be challenged.

In this one, the pictures add to the story but don't tell it. Enjoyed the connection. Especially appreciated the way the photos encouraged questions and the book only answers some of them. Vintage photos should always have a little mystery to them.
