What Members Thought
This is a powerful and interesting story that left me with a couple of weird reactions, which is why I couldn't give it a fifth star.
The first weird reaction was the realization that all of the 8th-grade characters came across as being more mature somehow. Even the mindless bullies seemed more like high-school mindless bullies, if that makes sense. The main character and the others just didn't feel like middle schoolers.
