4 stars. This was an incredibly whimsical, entertaining read. I loved how much the Egyptian mythology was woven into the story. It could've used more magic and more Whit POV, which it sounds like will be more heavily incorporated into the sequel. Can't wait!

Good story, I can't wait for book two. There is a cliffhanger so those that can't wait will probably wait to read this one until book two comes out.
I've always found Egypt fascinating and how the buried their kings and queens. Leaned new things while reading the story and even looked up the location where they were digging on google maps.

The worst part of this book is that I’ll have to suffer through another book just to find out the ending.
Implausible and slightly over dramatic in the romance department but honestly so fun.
4.5 stars! Can’t wait to read the next one
