This one is a JOY. I love Eleanor for all her quirks and how she makes me laugh. Her story is full of heart and I love, love, loved it!
Eleanor is awkward. She is weird. She doesn’t understand social norms and half the time she is going off about how someone else is conducting a faux-pas, when really she may be the perpetrator. I loved learning about Eleanor’s life and how her past shaped her. Her eccentricities make sense when you know what she has been through and how she was raised. I love th ...more

3.8 stars
I’m having a hard time rating this one. The story was overall good.
- Eleanor was a hard to love character, as intended. I did relate to her on a small level.
- I was bored with a good chunk of the book and skimmed through those parts. Just not enough dialogue for me, but that’s more personal preference.
- The ending was great.
Not quite a 4 star book on my personal grading scale, but it was a good story, so I give it 3.8 and rounded up for Goodreads.

This book sends you on such an emotional roller coaster as you get to know Eleanor. She is socially awkward, abrasive at times, absolutely hilarious, and just unforgivingly her. I appreciated the love story and the growth that happens throughout this book. Highly recommend.
