What Members Thought

I loved this book. I know some people might dismiss it as commercial fiction but so be it. A story that's funny, sad, uncomfortable, confronting and empathetic is everything a well-told tale should be. I also loved its Britishness; I'm glad nothing was changed to appease an American audience. I was swept away and that's all I ask for in my reading. This book sends you on such an emotional roller coaster as you get to know Eleanor. She is socially awkward, abrasive at times, absolutely hilarious, and just unforgivingly her. I appreciated the love story and the growth that happens throughout this book. Highly recommend.
