What Members Thought
I enjoyed the writing style and character development. I could truly visualize the characters and feel Eleanor’s emotions. This was a book on heavy topics including mental health, addiction and childhood trauma tackled in a way that tries to take the taboo out of it and also adds some lighthearted humor to it through Eleanor’s snappy wit. I would definitely read this story again and am looking forward to the film adaptation.
Incredible character development in this story! You'll find yourself rooting for Eleanor throughout each chapter and only hoping she will one day find true happiness. This book will tug at your heart strings, but you'll appreciate every moment.

I held in there for so long to get the details of what happened to Eleanor as a child! All the way to the end and I’m like what the what?!?!

One of my favorite books this year
Eleanor is delightful! I just wanted to give her a hug and hang out with her! She made me laugh, she made me cry, she made me cheer her on as she discovers that she is completely fine!
