I will read every single thing McCall writes. I love the Isabel Dalhousie series. I only spent one day in Edinborough, but it takes me back. Isabel and the other characters are well developed and have their own little eccentricities. In this book, Isabel's "meddling" uncovers the true character of Minty. Also, she and Jamie are now engaged!

this is not my favourite series by McCall Smith but I did enjoy Isabel's philosophising. Good for a quick light read.
