What Members Thought
As of this book, it's now five down and one left to go. I've been so enjoying getting more and more acquainted with Isabel Dalhousie. In some ways I find her my alter-ego. This series has become as comforting and cosy to me as the African series. I never thought I'd say that! But Edinburgh and Isabel's co-cast members are really charming. The Isabel Dalhousie novels are my favorite of McCall Smith's. This one, like so many others, quietly contemplates both the trivial and tremendous questions in life.
