I love the character of Bertie in this collection of very short vingettes of Edinburgh life, so it was fun to get a little more of him and the other characters in the series. I feel like the sereis has come to an end, and a satisfying one at that. What will Alexander McCall Smith come up with next?
This is the fourth in the series. Again the narrator was wonderful. Bertie's story is getting a lot more interesting since he now has a new baby brother. Romance abounds for many of the characters. Fun, gossipy, and lighthearted.

I listened to this one on CD while driving and sewing. It, like the rest of the series, was very enjoyable. Some truly hilarious moments.
I love Alexander McCall Smith but this is my least favorite of his series.
