I really enjoyed this latest title in the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series. For one thing, there's a little more, dare I say it?, action in this one, although admittedly that's a relative statement. Mma Ramotse solves ethical dilemmas in her gentle style. Poor Phuti loses part of his leg - will this affect his marriage? The lady detectives travel to a remote part of Botswana to deliver good news - but it gets complicated... I love all McCall's books.
