I think this first book of the Grimm Diaries is superbly written. However, it can't fully be appreciated unless you've read the entire Grimm Diaries Prequels, which, as SWS's predecessors, are amazing . I'm an avid fairy tale fanatic (I even took a college course on fairy tales and mythology in college!).
