An excellent coming of age novel about a teen straddling two cultures who visits his mother's homeland and family for the first time.
This book is all heart. I loved Darius and wanted to be his friend. It gave me all the feelings. This book is excellent and engaging from the first page to last, and makes me want to travel to Persia! Darius is a Fractional Persian, living in Portland, OR with his “Ubermensch” American father, Persian mother, and 7-year-old sister, Laleh.
