Minor spoiler alert, but not really XD
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa, published by Harlequin Teen is by far one of my favorite fae series to-date. I decided to read this series after hearing so many rave reviews about it, and upon reading the first few pages I instantly fell in love with the characters. The combination of the Midsummer’s Night Dream mythos with elements from Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan, the distinct worlds of the Seelie and Unseelie (Summer and Winter) is fantastic, but wha ...more

I was able to 'read' this in one day as I have already read this book before and did not ever note it on here. I needed a refresher before reading book two which has been on my shelf for 2 years but I thought that I needed to buy book 1. Alas book two can now begin.

It took me awhile to get into this book. I hated the copied characters from A Midsummer Nights Dream. I felt as if the whole story wasn't very original.
