Very enjoyable read. Few quirks. Tobias was too obv. I know some things can't be avoided but with him you could see everything coming. Christina seemed like she'd be a bit more of a main character than she turned out to be. I loved Uriah! Not enough from him. Not enough from Eric either, even if he wasn't my favourite. I love Beatrice's mam. A few other mentions but none without spoilers. Definitely a book worth picking up, it's so easy to keep reading. I won't lie there were moments I got irked

Divergent was a book that I knew would be good from the start. I have this little soft spot for action packed adventure and this is one of them. It has themes of fear. What is fear. why do we fear? How do we overcome our fears? Is it right to to just follow your dreams or what has already been planned for you? It was really a wonderful book and I couldnt put it down until I finished reading it.
This has become one of my favorite young adult books. The characters are wonderfully written and the story is absolutely addicting. There isn't a single negative thing that I could think to say about this book; I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and would certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys this type of literature.

I loved every minute of this book. I thought the characters were rich, the description was extremely well done and the romance was understated, but oh so lovely. Can't wait for #2
