At first I found the cover not very beautiful or surprising. It is a normal cover and normally I wouldn't pick it, but I read so many good reviews that the book had my interest. When I went to the bookshop, I wanted the second book of Lauren Destefano and it was not out yet in Holland. So, I decided to bring this book instead of Fever.

I read it within 4 hours and I enjoyed it. I was taking in the world of the (maybe) I really liked this book and that is also the reason that I wrote this review. At first I found the cover not very beautiful or surprising. It is a normal cover and normally I wouldn't pick it, but I read so many good reviews that the book had my interest. When I went to the bookshop, I wanted the second book of Lauren Destefano and it was not out yet in Holland. So, I decided to bring this book instead of Fever.

I read it within 4 hours and I enjoyed it. I was taking in the world of the (maybe) future and although it reminds me of others books I have read, I could disappear in the world and be like one of the characters. I found the description of each faction beautiful, and I thought about which faction I belong, but I know that I never had the courage to be fearless, but also not belong to one faction only. I think that, (feeling the same way as Beatrice), not one fraction but more belong to me and I think that nobody have only one, people are too different and can’t focus on one point only!

From the first moment that I met Beatrice, I liked her personal ways of handle stuff and the way that she in her whole live had felt different. When she must decided which pad she chose to walk on, the result of the test wore not a real surprised for me, but the simulation had surprised me by the description of the created world and the unique way (in this book) Beatrice chose to handle the problem. From that point she grows up to a woman with more power, becomes less fearless and gets more adventure. When she jumped and was the first from the roof, later catch by Four, I know that they belong to each other. A few ways in this book could be better, like writing styles and connections, the order of telling and details.

I can conclude that I definitely would recommendation this to people, who like adventure and a different kind story what they aren’t used to. The writing style is good and the persons/ characters feel real. The ends catch me and I definitely would read the next book. I can’t wait!

WOW. This book was breath taking. I have gone through so many emotions while reading this book. Anger, sadness, fear, happiness. I been hearing about this series for the past year, but haven’t had a chance to check it out. Now I see why so many are talking about this series. It was the best book that I read this year. I read quite few dystopian novels in the past couple years but Divergent is my favorite. I enjoyed it more than the hunger games. This one seemed to be action packed, right from the beginning. Roth knows how to suck you into the story. When I read the storyline, I wasn’t sure if I like it, and now I am glad that I gave it a chance. There wasn’t anything in this novel that I didn’t like.

Tris & Four: I did not see their relationship coming, not at first. I could tell that Tris was attracted to him from beginning, just by the way she acted when she was around him. Now, Four I didn’t think that he felt the same about her, to me it felt like he wasn’t her biggest fan. As book progressed, I could tell that he cared her, way that she cared about him. I loved their relationship, at times it felt sort of like hate love sort of relationship. I knew it was only because he was instructor, and in way he was protecting her because if everyone knew that there was something between them, they would assume he is favored her. More books progressed, I could tell that their feelings increased for one another, because of how they wanted protect each other. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them next.

I loved how action packed this novel was. There wasn’t a page where there wasn’t something going on. I loved the initiation process, to see what tasks they will have to face, and what they are willing to do, to get ahead. It’s one of reasons I dislike Peter, not only his attitude but that he go as far, as to kill someone. I kind of hoped that he would be one of people who get cut towards end. Even if this was a fantasy novel, it felt real to me. All the emotions that they were going through, especially when they were under hallucinations. Roth described everything so well; I saw everything as if it was happening in front of me.

A breath taking novel, I can’t wait till the movie comes out. If you love dystopian, adventure with romance in the mix, this is book for you. You will be hooked till the end, and even then you be craving for more.

YES. YES YES YES YES YES. This book was just... YES. Wow, I haven't read a book this amazing or action packed in a long time, and this was JUST the book to get me back to this genre. Dystopian is one of my favorite genres, and I LOVED the world that Veronica Roth created.

The cover reminds me of The Hunger Games and this another of growing books like that series. And it's a real winner. Pulled me in quickly and didn't let me go. After discovering it's sudden surge in popularity I got a small fine to finish the library copy cause I couldn't stand to wait that long to finish it. I absolutely LOVED this book!!! It was so fast paced, suspenseful, emotional, heart-breaking and so much more!!!! One thing I must say is how Veronica Roth constructed Tris' character was just phenomenal! Usually when I read YA fiction the female lead character can be very irrational at times, and come off as whiny and annoying, but I found myself really cheering for Tris. All I can say about this book is Wow! This book is so exciting. It grabbed my attention from the beginning right to the very end. I cannot wait to read Insurgent.
