Despite this taking me a couple of months to read (I should have bought a copy!), I adored this. It brought me back to my Monty Python days. Delightful foolishness from start to finish, with a serious dose of feeling.
No question, there was a point when I wished it was shorter (somewhere around the second library due date), but I'm glad I persevered because by the end, it's hard to imagine which episodes could have been spared.

The adventures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. Most of them imagined with very little connection of reality. Again and again the perceived world is bend to fit the imagination or ideal. “Enchanted” is the universal explanation. A horde of wizards is responsible for all

Unfortuantely, I was way too familiar with the story of Don Quioxte before reading this book to get much out of it. Its still a 3 star book as I realize I wouldn't have received so much pleasure from the Don Quioxte story without the book, but the read was a slog to get through and became very repetitive and dull by even 25% of the way through.
