A HUGE THANK YOU TO BlOOMSBURY PUBLISHING AND NETGALLEY for allowing me to be a part of this tour and allowing me to read and review Throne of Glass. Can I just say that there really are no words to describe what I fell about this story. I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!! Man when I was reading it I could not put it down. It is one of those stories that stays with you long after you have finished reading it. The world that Sarah has created is one that will live on in the readers mind forever. So enou ...more

Now, this is one amazing book. Jammed-packed with action, revenge, and a girl who is yearning for her freedom, it only took a few paged before I was done for.

The plot of the book is the best part of the book. A girl, who is taught by the best of the best, who is a threat to anybody, finds her way into the royal court. From the very first page, Celaena is intrigued. Raised harshly, trained vigorously, Calaena is not your average girl. She speaks her mind. She's not afraid to stand up for herself

This was a breathtaking, epic fantasy debut by Sarah J. Maas. Celaena Sardothien is a very famous assassin but treachery caused her to me sentenced to labor in the salt mines of Endovier until she dies. She is pulled from that certain death by Crown Prince Dorian and his Captain of the Guards - Chaol Westfall - because they need her to compete to be the King's Champion.

Dorian has picked her because he knows his father will hate the choice. Chaol doesn't like the choice and is determined to keep

ORIGINAL REVIEW HERE

I honestly feel that fantasy has taken a back seat these days when it comes to books that are being published and I find this to be extremely sad. When I first saw the cover for Throne of Glass, the beautiful cover intrigued me. Would it sound as good as the cover looked? Turns out, not only did Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas (who is gorgeous herself, y’all) have a great description, the book itself was really good. Throne of Glass was a great read with a kick ass assassin,

Really lived up to my expectations!!! Full review soon

Page 9/404 : So I see there's a love triangle already... and honestly, no one cares about your absent but not lost beauty, be a little less vain!

Page 104/404: Okay getting better now. I'm really involved in this story now, but I'm not what guy I want yet...

I read four of the novellas that prequel Throne of Glass. I am so happy that I did, because it provided a back-story that helped me better understand and empathize with the character of Celaena. To anyone that plans to read or read and loved Throne of Glass and haven't read the novellas, I highly recommend them.

Throne of Glass was a captivating read. It begins with Celaena Sardothien, the Assassin of Adarlan, being propositioned by Chaol Westfall, the Captain of the Gaurd, to become the King's
