What Members Thought
Even as a kid I thought this story was pretty heavy on the sanctimonious didacticism, but it still has great imagery. And my version had very pretty illustrations.

This is the beginning of his many adventures . As Tom is a mischievous young lad her meets Mrs Bedonebyasyoudid and Mrs Doasyouwouldbedoneby, who appear many times and are instrumental in his growth towards good behaviour and greater altruism.
