It’s about the vampyre (ahhh more specifically zoey) in the vampyre finishing school “house of night” as they called it. They’re not like “the vampire-on-book stereotype” most of the books anyway, vampire don’t usually casts a spell right? At first I’m not comfortable with the idea of vampyre/vampire performing purification rituals or casting spells and all other witchy stuff…don’t get me wrong I am fond of witches even before vampires took over! The book is a completely different take on vampires. It took me a while to really get hooked, but after a while I couldn't put it down. It made me smile when I learned that a bunch of my favorite stars (especially Kenny Chesney) are vampires in this series. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to continue the series.

From the very first chapter, PC and Kristen Cast pulled me in with such a huge force that I found it really hard not to put the book down. Amazing style and story-line! xD
The book starts of really slow, about halfway it get's a bit better. Nice story, but compared to the Vampire Academy books this is clearly a lesser one.
