Shelves: science-fiction, star-wars

Another seamless fit into the Star Wars universe crafted by Timothy Zahn. However, don't delve into Allegiance expecting a full scale galactic throwdown akin to the Thrawn trilogy. Allegiance is more of a James Bondish type adventure filled with intrigue, and shadowplay, which means it might not be for everyone. Still, as a fan of the expanded universe, I found it very rewarding to see a young Mara Jade in action (James Bond), and Zahn's deft portrayal of Han conflicted about joining the rebelli ...more

A quartet of Imperial Stormtroopers have a moral crisis over orders to destroy a civilian filled Rebel hideout. It is great to see an Empire story that does not revolve around Darth Vader.
