Honoria Todd and her younger siblings have disguised themselves and fled to Whitechapel, the roughest and one of the most dangerous places in London, to get away from the Echelon, the people who murdered their father. Whitechapel is one of the few places where the Blue Bloods don't have complete control, instead Blade a mysterious Rogue rules over them and he seems to have taken an interest in Honoria, but can he be trusted, or will he just use them as a pawn to get the revenge he desires over

Very intriguing and well built world with a good romance at the heart of it. It dragged a bit for me in the middle when I really wanted them to divulge their secrets to each other but it made sense that they were so mistrusting given the world of intrigue that we're given. There are lot of interesting secondary characters that I can see having their own stories but they are all also organic to this story, not just sequel bait. Must say I really liked this book. I liked the interplay between the H/H and the side characters as well. Interesting world building about vampires and werewolfs too. It dragged a little in the middle but overall a very well done first book in series. I will definitely read more by this author and this series!
