A Shade Of Vampire is one of those books that takes you by storm. I say that often because I get surprised by so many books I have been reading lately. When I look at the book the cover is okay and the blurb sort of grabs me but then I start reading the book and I am like HOLY HADES this is a diamond in the rough book. I was given this book for an honest review. Would have read it anyway. This story is a quick read but packs a surprising amount of action and drama. The characters are fleshed out about as well as can be expected for a story of this length. I have read some reviewers complain about "instalove" but I did not find that to be an obvious fatal flaw in this story. It worked well with the story line and didn't feel forced to me.
