I really loved this book and I have to say I didn't think I would at first. I had previously read Kristen Ashleys Knight and Creed which I rated a respective 3 and 4 stars. Even with that rating I was disappointed because well she's Kristen Ashely and very much hyped up by my friends. She's queen of alpha males and romance so I expected more. I went into this book with low expectations because of that.

I went into this book with low expectations because of that. I am not someone who hands out five star ratings easily so I am over the moon that I enjoyed this one as much as I did.

I love my Kindle and the best thing I love about it is the fact that I can highlight and make notes in my books. I don't use those features often but in this book I highlighted whole pages. I just loved the characters in this book THAT much. I started this novel not liking Gwenn much. With 3 love interest chasing after her I was highly annoyed at how much she swooned over the men when they came around. I didn't think she was going to be loyal to Hawk. She also seemed shallow to me with her cookie dough eating and designer shoe loving ways. I have to say I got Gwenn completely wrong and she proved herself to be more loyal then I expected. Of course I loved Hawk. Who wouldn't?? Well no one with sense in their head because he a was super hot, super alpha, super possessive commando mystery man. What more could you ask for? I totally got his reason that he was the way he was. I didn't enjoy the broken language that characters spoke and lack of grammar skills but I have heard authors say before they use that in biker books so it makes them seem rougher... I'm not sure but I hate it. Either way the rest of the crew were great characters. Both of the families were phenomenal but I loved Elvira so much. I hope she is in a leading role in another book in this series.

I also loved Kristen Ashley's shout out to her other series. There were characters from her Chaos series and also Rock Chick. It's amazing how she intertwines all of her series but it works. This book did seem extremely long to me and by Kindle measurements it was twice the size of a regular book. I'm not sure if I had an actual book with pages and numbers if it would still seem as long but it kept me interested and engaged in the story so even with it being a longer read I finished it quite quickly.

So my reasoning for not giving a whole 5 stars on this was mainly about the love interests and the start of Gwenn and Hawk's relationship. There were 3 men chasing after Gwenn. This is just my personal opinion but being that I hate love triangles, this was too much for me. I would have been fine with 2 but 3 were too many. Also the way Gwenn and Hawk supposedly slept together for 1 year and 1/2 and never saw each other in the light of day was just not believable for me. If it had been a couple of times I might of been ok with it but this was a little unbelievable. That is really the only complaints I have for this book and I'm a pretty critical reader.

I am extremely glad that I read this book and I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book in the series. If you like alpha males then Hawk is definitely a Dream Man.
