"...from the erotic bed of her lover, to the terrifying bed of the Unseelie King..."
What?! Who said anything about sleeping with the Unseelie King?! I shouldn't have read the synopsis for book five because I'm now even more scared to read book four and find out that Barrons and Mac will never stay together!

Ok. I caved and read book four. And then went to KMM's website. This little blip gave me hope:

What an awesome, fitting, perfect ending to a series that is truly "out of this world":) I finished this one this afternoon and I'm still reeling from the intensity and the punch that this book packs. To describe this book as a "roller coaster ride" simply would not do it justice. This book had me on the edge of my seat, neglecting all basic needs (eating, sleeping, ect.), and guessing, second guessing, and third guessing myself until the very end. It was brilliant.

WOW! I am a little speachless!
I feel totally K'Vruck'd! "Nightwindflyhighfreeeeeee"
I can't believe it's over! I was a little late to the Fever Series party, I only started reading Darkfever a couple weeks ago and by the second book I was asking "Where have you been all my life?!" And now I have come to the end... or is it? It has been a rollercoaster of a ride! (Thank you KMM!) I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed this last book in the Fever Series! I was planning on giving this book 4 stars because I felt like it was dragged out unnecessarily. But I got to the end and decided on 5 because we got all our answers and I loved every single one of them. I did not guess one bit of what or who anyone was correctly. Everything was such a surprise and shock. It wasn't my favorite book of he series but I still loved outcome and surprise of it all.

Reading this series was like reading one long book... I am glad I waited until the whole series was out before attempting it though - the endings on the first four books will give you a conniption fit! I hope we get to see more of Mac and Barrons in the next Moning series. I feel like the series ended just when they were getting to the good part!

What a BOOK!! I had a hard time putting this book down. This book has ended up being in my Top Ten books I've ever read. I think I'll put it at #2 on my list. I can't put it at #1 though since Anne Rice's "The Mummy" still holds that. While reading this book, you'll be on the edge of your seat. Karen Marie Moning even throws you off several times in this book.
Karen Marie Moning, I look forward to the next books in the series after the spin-off series. Pleas ...more

A wild ride. An emotional roller coaster. The plot twists, turns, dips, climbs, and plunges were masterfully engineered. Yes, the ending satisfied, but this novel -nay, this series- is all about the journey, not the destination.
A fulfilling read. ...more
