If I had to use one word to describe SHADOWFEVER I would have to say EPIC. This series is all in a epic category of it's own. I can honestly say that it was worth the wait, all the speculating and predicting from the hell-ish cliffhanger in Dreamfever was well worth it. SHADOWFEVER captivated me in a way no book has ever done so before.

I gave this book a solid 5. What can I say, it’s amazing and worth waiting. That’s for sure. Not that I’m obsessed with JZB or anything—but who I’m kidding. Yes, I am. I’ll have to stew in this for a little longer because right now I don’t really know what to write. The book left me speechless for two reasons. I’m glad that it’s over (or is it?) and I’m SAD that it’s over (may be?). I will have to come back to it and write more. But in the meantime -- my questions.......

I liked this series but it doesn't feel like it’s over… there isn’t a lot I can mention without giving away too much for those who haven’t read it. I’ll keep it generic:
Although this is the last book of the seores, it does not feel like it is…. and not in a good way. Waaaaaayyyy too much happens in this book compared to the last 4, and you could almost skip the first book because it’s just so dull. There were too many things left unresolved & unaswered in this last book. The final book in a seri ...more

Hmmm...not sure what to say about this book. Definitely the best book in the series, but not perfect. All the things I said on January 21st after finishing Part I are still true. Except for the quotes; the second half has some really good passages. Quite an intricately weaved storyline over 5 books. I just wish it had been executed without the telling, voice changes and cliff hangers. After finishing the series I'm still quite puzzled how a child would be in the middle of a battle?

YES, YES, a thousand times, YES! I was worried that I may have had to kill the author or something with the ending of the last book, but KMM pulled through. I would have thrown the book against the wall at the beginning, when she found out who she killed, but I peeked a bit later in the book and saw that Barrons was back. And the ending there? Way to eliminate the love triangle between Mac, Barrons, and V'lane. Just make V'lane an evil, raping, murdering despot. I actually liked the ending thoug

After the last book I was so excited to get started on this one. But it just did not do much for me till near the end. This one rated like the first 3 for me – even though the ending picked up speed, fell into place and started to feel epic.(just a little to late)

Excellent end to the series. I'm glad she didn't stretch this out for more books. Can I live underground in the lair of Barrons for eternity please?

Yay page 184 they are back! Great reparte!
Spectacular finish to an epic series. Loved it and put the paranormal genre back in my favorites!
