i gotta process before i review this one....
It's too much. Let me sum up.
Okay, There is so much to this book. So many twists and turns that now, months later on my second read, I cannot begin to even think of how to summarize it, much less do it without spoilers!
Suffice to say you’ll find out who the beast is, a bit of who Barrons is (altho not everything was answered on his end, imo), who Mac’s sister’s murderer was, how the Mackeltar’s play into the fever plot, what V’Lane’s true ...more

This is a spoiler-free review, because you really need to experience the magic of this book without knowing what’s ahead. And believe me, despite what you think you might have worked out from reading the previous books, you probably have no idea.
I hate spoilers. Hate ’em. No matter what the book, I don’t want to know anything going in. Yet very early on in Shadowfever I found myself so tempted to look ahead, or find some other way of getting a hint about what I could expect. Thankfully, my GR fr ...more

I've come across mixed reviews for the final installment of the Fever series. I might be one of the few who actually loved it. In fact, I'm highly satisfied with how everything turned out (maybe not completely satisfied, but pretty close).
A lot of things happened in this book. I won't give too many details, so check out Sam's review for that: The spoiler filled review. Plus, supposedly I've given too much detail in my reading updates. Sorry Black Pearl.

Wow!!! What can I say about this novel, the 5th installment of the “Fever” series? It’s just fantastic with loads of twists and turns throughout the novel, which kept me reading until late in the night to uncover the mysterious and dark secrets that will finally reveal Mac’s utter existance. As we now encounter null sidhe-seer, Mac, she is suffering emotionally and physically with the reality that she has done the viciously unspeakable to the dark and handsomely mysterious, Jericho Barrons (whic

It'd been an incredible journey walking hand and hand with Mac! Great series, and from all the series I've read so far, this one keeps me guessing and being stomped time after time. Many books are predictable, but how Karen Marie Moning makes her readers constantly guessing and piecing the puzzle parts together is a wonder!
So...where to go from here? I've had a few moments when I thought, "that's it?" I remembered the last four books that made me itch terribly to know what Barrons is. I guess I ...more
