God I truly don't know what I was thinking and why I rated this so high maybe it was because of Jillian and who did it part. Jillian who was lovely, strong, brave and kind and the hero wasn't much of a hero. I think he might have actually been a heartbreaker in other romance novels, you know that one heroine loved but who was too consumed in his demons to actually love and abandoned.
