Romanceopoly: Military Mews

First Read: May 2020
Second Time Read: September 27 - 30, 2025
I’ve read a few of Maya Banks’ Contemporary/Erotic Romances and absolutely adore her Historical Romances, so it’s time to try her Romantic Suspense. I read The Darkest Hour, the first KGI book, in 2020, but decided to reread it and opted for the audiobook this time.
Male Protagonist: The MMC, Ethan Kelly, an ex-Navy SEAL, has grieved his wife for over a year, believing she was dead. His family is concerned about him. I liked Ethan, but ...more

Really and truly I give this book 1.5 stars.
It had great potential, but in the end it was just: Meh.
I'm actually sad to say that because I hate giving bad reviews.
I like honesty but I know that sometimes being honest hurts.

My Favorite Maya Banks read so far. Ms. Banks writing has gotten better over the years, and it shows with this story. I really enjoyed this read and look forward to more of her books.

I've found Maya Banks's erotic romances hit-and-miss, but I adored this.
