I think I may have to buy this series and do a re-read. I enjoyed the fourth installment in Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series, but I also felt like I missed out on some aspects because of my hazy recollections of the supporting cast.

It's hard not to gush when reviewing anything by Jeaniene Frost, especially the Night Huntress series. This is simply because she has an inordinate balance, a grasp on the critical elements that make readers clamor for more. The creation of Bones is right up there with Tom Fenris, Jamie Frasier, Jean-Claude, Erik Northman, and Kisten. In fact, I think the series is more Bones' rather than Cats. The dialogue is flawless, illuminating both the mind-set, and emotional framework of the interactions

I wish I could give the entire series 4.5 stars. I am totally addicted to the characters and plot line of this series, and am going through a bit of withdrawal now that I have finished it. I know there is another coming out next Feb., but it doesn't help. Bones has to be one of the best alpha-male leads I have read in a long time. His affection for Cat bewilder even himself at time. I absolutely love Vlad. I also love the situation with Tate and how he loves to needle Bones, just hope Bones lets

If I could rate this book 6 stars, I would. I just read this entire book in one sitting straight through the night without an ounce of sleep and I couldn't feel more wired. Every book in this series has been amazing so far, but this one blew the rest away. The book started strong and ending strong without slowing even for an instant in between. If you have not read this series yet, what the heck are you waiting for?!?
