This is yet another terrific read and a beautiful romance in the intriguing Psy-Changeling universe and my second favorite of the series so far. I haven't reviewed book 3, Caressed by Ice, yet, but I wanted to get this one out of my system. Hmm...sounds bad, doesn't it?

Well...I have mixed thoughts/feelings about this 4th installment of the Psy/Changeling series. I’m sad that I didn’t love this one as much as I loved the first 3 books.

This is a marvelous story! It's darker than most of the earlier ones, with the kidnapping and brutal murder of street kids, some of them under the care of Talin McKade, who works as a social worker for Shine, a private organization that helps the underprivileged.
