I have to say I thought Visions of Vaughn was the shit in this series, but it’s like generic potato chips, its good but its no fucking Lays. Caressed by Ice is Lays and it almost killed me. I was two seconds away from wanting a cold hearted boyfriend. I wanted the challenge; I wanted to be caressed by ice. Easily this book is the best I have read this year, and its only book three so I have serious hope that next thing you people read is my obituary ^^THIS IS ONE ICEBERG I WOULD KILL TO CLIMB!^^

I was two seconds away from wanting a cold hearted boyfriend. I wanted the challenge; I wanted to be caressed by ice. Easily this book is the best I have read this year, and its only book three so I have serious hope that next thing you people read is my obituary or my confession of being a sex addict to ruthless sexy ice-cold telekinetic Psy.

Therefore, the third instalment of this gripping and downright sinful series, I can honestly say the first book was ok for me. Since then it seems Miss Singh has put on her writing cap and she came at me hard. From the get go I was intrigued by the Psy/Changeling world. The ice cold unfeeling Psy, and the passionate changeling species.

Judd is an arrow and lives his life in complete silence. Silence is never showing emotion, all feeling and thoughts are completely cut of from everyone and even himself. Though he resides with the SnowDancer pack in order to protect his family, Judd still very much lives by the Psy rules. He is an ice-cold killer the best with his mind killing tricks. Until there was Brenna, she makes him want crazy warm things; she makes him feel and its becoming hard to stay away.

Brenna was mind raped by a psychotic Psy, so she feels like half the person she use to be. Everyone around her treats her like glass, they are over protective and Brenna is fed up. She just wants to go back and be the wolf she was before the crazy Psy took everything from her. There is only one person who makes her feel things again, and it’s Judd Lauren. Its weird how she would fall for a Psy after what she has been through, but Judd makes her feel safe and she really just wants to break the ice that is Judd.

Seems a war is a brewing and the Psy race is hitting the changelings where it hurts most, but they underestimate them. I believe it’s about to become and epic fight. Someone is out to destroy Brenna, and that shit is hitting closer to home. Its betrayal all over the place, but it fails in comparison to the walking sex that is Judd. Holy, hell I almost succumbed to a sex coma. Judd has happens to be one of my fave characters of the year, he was just all that and a bag of chips. I wanted to get up close and personal with this iceberg, cus sometimes ice do burn.

I read the last few pages on the bus, and I had to double check my seat or else it would have been one of those moments where “I jizzed in my pants”. Hey, bus driver clean up at the back of the bus. This world is unlike any, and if the rest of the series continues to be this amazing. Time to invest in some depends, because it’s about to become hot in here. The story is gripping, the characters are hot and interesting, just never a dull moment.

Holy hotty!! The idea of the next Psy/Changeling hook-up being a male Psy both thrilled and chilled me. As the last book said there's a reason it has been females that willingly left the PsyNet first. The take on the male emotions and drive give the Psy a new depth.

Brenna is the victim of the serial killer from the first book, Slave to Sensation. She's healed a lot since then, also buried a lot. While I didn't feel 100% convinced that she was acting how someone who had experienced all she had w Holy hotty!! The idea of the next Psy/Changeling hook-up being a male Psy both thrilled and chilled me. As the last book said there's a reason it has been females that willingly left the PsyNet first. The take on the male emotions and drive give the Psy a new depth.

Brenna is the victim of the serial killer from the first book, Slave to Sensation. She's healed a lot since then, also buried a lot. Her journey to completely healing was an insight to the power of a strong mind. I loved that while she wasn't a kick booty hero, she was a different kind of strong. A woman of such strength to heal from evil.

Judd is the yummy male Psy, not just any male Psy, an Arrow. An elite kind of secret assassin that “doesn’t exist”. Trained from birth to be a killer his conditioning was a lot more involved as his power is amazing, and scary. The complex process of Silence and the truth behind how individuals are brainwashed is a disturbing insight.

Yet. Yet . . . Step it up! The plot and mystery is so predictable still. Every twist, turn, and bombshell was so easily guessed. Grrrrrrrrr. It just took away from the suspense. Even Singh's amazing writing skills can not help to compensate this time. Sometimes I can predict things better than other readers, but after asking other book buddies who've read—or are reading—this series they agreed with me. Only time will tell if the later books show growth from Singh.

Judd and Brenna's story is hawt!! Feel the passion, even if the plot is a little lack luster. The books do get better and better. The insight into the Psy Council is just enough to give readers an idea where the PsyNet stands. The rebel Ghost is a huge dose of awesome! The idea of a rebel force building in the PsyNet, growing and then maybe one day over throwing the Council, is awesome!

Sexual Content: Brenna was tortured in book 1, there’s some dark stuff about that. Standard yummy Psy-Changeling bedroom scenes.

Brenna Kincaid is trying to adjust back home after being rescued from the sick Psy Santino. The Psy had done some sick stuff to her that she doesn't even to talk about to people about it. And because of whatever he did to her she can't shift anymore. Even through I'm three books in the series if someone were to asked me who is my least favorite character in the series I would have to say Brenna Kincaid. She's clingy, selfish. She won't listen to whatever someone tells her and is always jumping in someones face. Poor Judd I felt so sorry that he had to put up with her. Her Personality rubbed me the wrong way. If it was for the fact that I was liking Judd's character and wanted to find out who the killer was I would have stopped reading the book. I really couldn't stand her. She always in Judd's business. Following and stalking him.

Even through Judd Lauren has cut himself off from the Net he still does what he had done when he was in the net. He is a cold, emotionless assinan. The only person who can see through him and break through all that ice is Brenna. He knows that he shouldn't be having feelings for her and trys to stay away. Each time he's with her he finds it hard to leave. Now he has to not only protect her but find out who is trying to pin the leopards and wolfs against each other.

In the end Judd cuts off entirely from the net and silence for Brenna and he also gets to be blood bonded with Hawke and become part of the pact. I really want to hear more about Walker I hope he finds his HEA.

I love Nalini Singh and the only reason I give this book a 2 star rating was cause of Brenna's character. ...more

Third book in, I'm starting to the Psy-net thing (I'm a little slow on grasping this concept. Found it a little hard to wrap my head around). I think I liked it a little more. Than the first two. Also, I think this is one of the series that you have to read in order and back-to-back. I haven't read it in several month, and took me awhile to remembe who, what, when, where, how.
