Shera (Book Whispers)
Genre: Paranormal Romance (AKA Romantic Fantasy)

Thoughts:

First off before I read this book, I was prepared to dislike it. It's shelved in the romance genre, and no matter how many romance books I read I'll still always be wary of that lay of the land. The description on the back of the book had me giggling with it's silliness, and then someone told me this was a series about finding ones soulmate. This is an epic series that I started when it came out in 2007 and wanted to revisit as an audiobook. Very complex world building and deeply sincere characters. Horrible villains and broken heroes. I cannot say enough good things about this book. Just out of this world!
