I don't read much urban fantasy. That isn't to say that it's bad, but just that it doesn't appeal as much to me as PNR or high (or not so high) fantasy. But occasionally I decide I want to read an urban fantasy novel, usually because the theme or genre appeals to me - and usually this ends up with me cranky and disgruntled. Good book - I will definitely read more in this series!
I loved this book. Especially Bones, he reminds me a lot of Ethan from Chicagoland Vampires. I really like this authors style of writing. No dragging on for chapter after chapter to get to the point with mindless details just to fill pages. She has a way of skipping all of the useless stuff and getting right to the meat of the story. Great book , was sad about the ending but couldn't wait to pick up #2 in the series .
