This one is on the high side of four stars for me. I haven't been reading the series in order but this is my favorite so far. Drustan is truly a dream hero, sexy and smart and vulnerable too! He makes an amazing choice at the end to be with the woman he loves. This is one Keltar lairds who effects his own destiny without some magical entity pulling the strings. I also like the heroine, Gwen's, intelligence and courage. I don't think there's much I didn't like about this book. The nerd in me was

I loved this book. It was the best one of the series so far, and KMM did a wonderful job with the story. I appreciate it when an author can surprise me and can write a story that is unpredictable. And I must tell you I was reluctant to read them at first, but now I am stolen. These hot Mackelter men just makes you wish you were the one dropped into their century. These are one of those time traveling novels which I didn't know if I would like but I loved it! I admit it was a bit slow in the beginning, but it picked up after the first few chapters.

Gwen was a great, hilarious and witty character as well and even though there were parts of their journey that made my gut knot with sadness, there was so much joy in this story! I really love this series, I can't believe I'm just now reading it! On to Drustan's twin...I have a feeling I'm going to like Da
