Tons of reviews for LK, so I'm keeping this short and sweet for those of my 'friends' that are curious about my take on the book.
Evie was extremely likeable. Her stammer was endearing, and wasn't an overplayed aspect of the book, as I feared it would be. She really was a wallflower by choice, with a rotten family who would be thrown in jail in modern times for their abuse. Sebastian is, obviously, the world's most notorious player, and he has no problem with that. This extremely unlikely pair h ...more

"I want to fill every part of you....breathe the air from your lungs....leave my handprints on your soul. I want to give you more pleasure than you can bear."
When Sebastian said that to Evie, I forgave him for everything, I thought that was so beautiful. *sigh*, this was one of those books that once you get through you give a big, shuddering sigh because you just read such a great book and you have a smile on your face. I am on a winning streak with series that just keep getting better. Having just read the latest in the I-Team series by Pamela Clare (Naked Edge) which IMHO was the best in the series so far, I moved straight on to this gem in the Wallflowers series.
I absolutely adored It Happened One Autumn and didn't think Kleypas would be able to top that one, but she just might have managed it. It's hard to say whether I like this one better, because the two are very different. Where It Happened One Autumn ...more

This was a re-read for me and it was nice to go back and visit THE SEXIEST HERO LK HAS EVER WRITTEN!I wish she would write her hero's as sexy as Sebastian all the time. Sometimes her hero's are lacking that spark I look for in a hero but Sebastian had it in droves! I re-read this book again just for him :-))

Nice enough story but I never find Lisa Kleypas intense enough for me and by that I don't mean steamy scenes, but I mean highly charged emotions, passion etc. The H/H in this book were in love but it was just nice. I prefer love to be wild and raw (when I'm reading of course).
