- I enjoyed it, the world it set up was interesting
- It was very slow, perhaps needlessly, the pacing would go from exciting, to reading about someone else reading. It felt a little bit uneven.

I really enjoyed this book; I think in some ways despite itself. I loved the world that the author created with the different supernatural races and I love the way the information about them was revealed. There would be both scientific or historical information about a certain race and then you'd see characters demonstrating those traits. I felt the characterization in the book was very strong. HMMMMM.....I was not so into this book unfortunately. It was almost like there were two separate books here, maybe more LOL. The last 1/4 of the book was like another world, far far removed from the beginning. And she spends more time being carried around and laying on her back then anyone I have read about. It just seemed all over the place, like I couldn't quite grasp the complete concept throughout the whole book. It was also Very Very Long!!! Very Very Drawn Out!!! I picked this book because
