What Members Thought

5 HUGE Stars!! Nalini Singh flat out nails it with her second book in the Rock Kiss series. No one can say she can't write New Adult now...

I was glued to these pages...it was a perfect cocktail of personalities and circumstances that Singh gave these two. Gabriel is the quintessential man of power and Charlotte the shy, introverted pretty girl hidden by her own insecurities.

5 -- I Loved T-Rex! -- stars - Contemporary Romance

T-Rex, I love you!!!

Despite the horror that is contained in Charlotte's past, this book is mostly light hearted fun with just enough pathos and tenderness from Gabriel to make it a compassionate and sexy read as well.
I have enjoyed this series and this book is no different. I enjoyed rugby, the throw back theme of the big boss and the mouse who is wicked smart, and New Zealand.
The romance and plot aren't surprising but Singh is a great writer and these are wonderful characters. A comfort read.

This one threw me at first, I couldn't figure out where the rock star was. It took until Molly was connected with Charlotte before I figured out the connection.
It was really hard not to smile when reading this one. Even at the start Charlotte was plucky. Her first meeting with Gabriel had me laughing, what a first impression! I liked that Gabriel saw through the walls that Charlotte put up, that he wanted to know more about her and that he realized at times things he did froze her up. It was th ...more

I'm probably in the minority here, but I didn't love this. I liked it. It was a good story. Loved the characters for the most part, although working as an admin for many years, I never would have put up with Gabriel's treatment. There's a difference between demanding and disrespectful.
All in all it was a good story, it just never wowed me. ...more

Loved the Mouse and T-Rex and wasn't ready for it to be over. Hope we get to see more of them in the coming books. Might we see a book of Gabriel's brother, Sailor?

Even though this is part of the "Rock" series, it is far afar in this book.
We finally get to know Charlotte and what went on with her that has made her skittish.
Hearing a noise, Charlotte goes to investigate and throws a stapler at the stranger, who is none other than her new boss Gabriel. There is an attraction, but Charlotte feels Gabriel would never look twice at her and Gabriel feels Charlotte needs time to adjust to him.
Their relationship progresses as Charlotte is promoted to Gabriel's PA ...more
