What Members Thought
Cute funny read. Much lighter than my normal PNR reads but sometimes we need a break from the hard hitting stuff. I like Betsy, she's got a smart mouth, she's fast on her feet and she doesn't take anyone's shit. Probably more 3.5 stars better than a 3 star but not quite a 4 star read. I plan to continue on with the series.

It was funny!!! Davidson took an everyday person and answers the question: What if you died and then you wake up only to learn that your are the vampire queen? I enjoyed the way Betsy handled it: with sarcasm, laughter, and of course, designer shoes!!!! LOL!!! It reminded me of Sex and the City and Vampires!!!! LOL!!! I look forward to reading book 2!!!
I got such a kick out of this book. It's silly but hilarious, and isn't the usual romancy love and feelings and ick. Young woman who loves good shoes gets attacked, turns into vamp, is told she was "foretold" as a new kind of vamp, and adventures ensue. Really a lot of fun.
