I had put off reading this thriller for a few years. Something I know regret. I really enjoyed reading this thriller. I liked the characters, both the "good" assassin (Victor) and the "bad" assassin (Reed). Plenty of action and spy-craft. A good plot, characters, and tons of bad guys.

The mano vs mano fight scene at the end was worth the price of admission alone. If you like Jason Bourne or Will Robie (which I certainly do) then you will enjoy this story as well.

This is a very nice first book from this author. I'm definitely continuing the series. An assassin completes his kill and immediately becomes the target. His winding chase then takes us several places and includes the necessary suspense, intrigue and heartbreak. The climax and end of the book are written very well.

The characters in the book are not thin. The are complex and mimic what I suspect a real assassin would be like. The emotions and depth of the characters grow throughout the book and y ...more

Very involving, even if slightly overlong, story about a highly trained assassin who gets involved in an intricate plot to steal advanced Russian technology. The author does a very good job shifting from one scenario to another without confusing the reader. Some good twists and turns as well as a satisfying ending will leave the reader looking forward to Victor's next mission. ...more
