Another of the "Spec-Ops" genre...This one is unique in that its written by a former Spec-Ops operator...in this one a "retired" warrior is pulled into battle internal threats to the US by a sub-rosa organization funding its operations with the drug trade...Dan Morgan must stop this organization to protect himself and family...decent story...OK read

Dan Morgan has left the CIA and retired with his wife and daughter. Until he finds out that his former partner has died and left him a coded message. Morgan must once again become the Cobra and try to get to the bottom of who killed his friend and battle some of his ex-allies and former enemies in the process. Good first effort from Maloney.
Excellent...
I really liked this book. I had never read this author before, but the book started interesting with nice pacing. I will read more of his books.
