This book is a classic! I had enjoyed the movie and had put off reading the book, but I’m happy to report that the book is even better than the movie! I don’t think the movie version of Swagger is as impressive as the book version. Although I had a good idea of where the story was going, the big moments were still very satisfying. I’ve read other Stephen Hunter books, but this one is my favorite by far!
This is the book that got me hooked on Hunter and Bob Lee Swagger. Slightly different from the movie, I was itching to read this after watching. The book is vastly better. There are more twists, emotions and plot details.
Point of Impact is an excellent thriller. It was very entertaining to watch good ol' boy Bob Lee Swagger match wits and bullets with the bad guys and so-called good guys, with all their assets and money.

I liked it very much. Strong plot, terrific characters. I really enjoy the author's prose style.
