I was really getting into this short story featuring "a crack team of 2CG operatives" led by Marika Hartman. Short and to the point with a heavy dose of a "24" type scenario and plot (but handled even faster than a full day). Marika reminded me of the tough female lead in Ghost of Winter INCEPTION by Freddy Hansen. I was planning to read this short story (which is Marika 2.5) and then go back and start with #1: Rotten Gods. I was liking the story until the ENDING.
