I read this over one weekend and it was enjoyable but not as good as the first of his books. The first half was exciting and gripping but I found my interest waning a little towards the end of the book. I think this is mainly because of the main female character who I found irritating. The setting is excellent and atmospheric, very impressive for an English author writing about the USA. Reacher is a great hero and I am sure I shall go on to read many more in the series.
