Introduction for me to the character Jack Reacher and Lee Child too.
On the whole I liked the book. Good intro. It didn't seem to have the usual start to the thriller. I didn't know where it was going to head. Could it be a prison based book, a secret plot book or what?
I wasn't totally hooked by the character of Reacher, but I will continue to read the books he is in to see if I do. I can only think that being his first book there is still a great deal to learn about him.

Enjoyable read that is full of action and tension in a small town. Several parts of this story are excellent and have me excited to learn more about this character of Jack Reacher and the series. Other parts kept catching me up bc if a government agency suspected something wouldn’t there be more than one agent involved? Also, the death count, wouldn’t that have to be addressed somehow?

I found a friend in Lee Child. Jack Reacher is a cool MOFO that has all the characteristics that I love in a protagonist. I have been looking for a new series to get into and I found it in Reacher. I must admit that I was recommended to read this book by this Goodreads account and was putting it off. Recently went back and re-read this old favorite. Reacher is a great character
great story. I am looking forward to reading the next Jack Reacher story
