What Members Thought

An outstanding novel, and perhaps Fleming's best. While Ian has an occasional hiccup (i.e., "shrugged his shoulders"), his prose is tight, lean, and fast. His descriptions and character development--especially for Kerim and Rosa Klebb--are vivid, deep, and believable. His dialogue and beats are flawless, and almost every chapter ends with a cliffhanger.
