2.5 rounded up.
I read The Odessa File In the early 70’s and was enthralled. I remember thinking it was so compelling and fascinating. It was one of the first espionage thrillers I had ever read. Decades laterI reread it, and was soooo disappointed!
I was deflated, and my star rating deflated as well - from ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ to a mere ⭐️ ⭐️ rounded up.

An exceptionally well-written and meticulously researched thriller!
I read only one other book by Frederick Forsyth that was "The Afghan" but I found it very boring and lacklustre while in contrast this book is a typical edge-of-your-seat stuff! ...more

Easy read, Miller's motivations were a bit disappointing. Interesting premise, a bit simplistic in its resolutions.
