What Members Thought

This book mainly had great cover art. The only other good thing I can say about it is that it was part of the 'early' Dirk Pitt series. It is somewhat amusing to see the origin of the Pitt character; his early development; to observe Cussler's more polished style emerging.
But its a case of a good idea gone bad. Lurid to begin with, these tales (an attempt to concoct an American James Bond) the first 6-7 books in the series were at least, a novelty.
