Good read. Kind of fun to go back and find an earlier Dirk Pitt book. I think Vixen 03 is simpler, cleaner and more direct than Cussler's more recent books. It seems to me that as this series has continued, CC has had to resort to ever more outrageous, bigger, and more "blockbustery" plots in order to build on what his prior novels have established.
So going back to an earlier read was nice.
