Violent? Oh yeah, especially the last several chapters. Soon on to Book #3 of Victor the Assassin: The Game (Victor the Assassin, #3) by Tom Wood . I read the first Victor novel a couple of years ago and finally bought this book with a Christmas Gift card. Lucky for me my digital library has the next couple of Tom Wood thrillers.

Plenty of spy-craft and assassin trade-craft in this thriller. I recently read The Kill Artist (Gabriel Allon, #1) by Daniel Silva but did not think the assassin (Gabriel Allon) in that novel actually did much. Not the case with Victor. Don't spit into the wi ...more
