When I was a wee teenage boy in the early 80's (yes I know, I'm old, so what, wanna fight?) I frequented my local public library, called a free library at the time, I don't know why, I never have been to a library where I had to pay. Book #2 after American Assassin follows a young Mitch Rapp into Paris for what appears to be a simple hit against a fat Libyan former terrorist. But things go wrong for Rapp and continue to go wrong although it's not his fault. Good book - seemed like the book was one long set up and character development. Real action didn't come together until later. Formula - big take down - then lets meet the characters of this time - Lots of little action prices earlier after the one, too many 2 page chapters giving us who traveled where. Then very late the final action we have been waiting for ...
